We are recruiting a Social Care Worker at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 25 hours. These hours will be worked on a rotating basis, including regular weekend working, sleeping’s and bank holidays.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Accommodation Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £16,414 - £17,553 and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Caerphilly Supported Living Scheme seeks to recruit 3 x 25hr Female Social Care Workers to work within the Risca area. The focuses being to provide care and support that promotes choice and independence for an individual with a learning disability and achieve better outcomes to live life well.

For the role, we ask that you have:
1. Experience with people who require support and assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily living and social skills.
2. The ability and commitment to achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care within an agreed timescale.
3. An understanding of the principles that underpin a quality care environment ie Privacy, dignity, respect, choice, independence and rights.
