We’re searching for a Social Commerce Director for a PE-backed start-up business. They are simplifying the way consumer businesses interact with Social Commerce & online marketplaces. They provide end-to-end solutions and state-of-the-art technology to revolutionize how brands think about eCommerce marketplaces. They’re now branching out even further and this role focuses on TikTok.
They are a start-up business and have already raised over £800k in funding so far. They recently closed their funding round.
This is a permanent full-time hybrid position, working in their central London (Zone 1) office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
The Social Commerce Director will:
Take responsibility for shaping and executing the Social Commerce strategy.
Oversee investment and resource management, allocate budgets, make strategic investment decisions & hire.
Manage brand presence & performance on Social Commerce platforms, mainly TikTok.
Drive revenue growth through Social Commerce strategies to increase customer engagement & brand loyalty.
Report on KPIS & metrics related to all Social Commerce activities.
The Social Commerce Director should have:
6+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or affiliate marketing & influencer marketing
Experience in a leadership role focused on Social Commerce, selling products on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), with a solid understanding of how to leverage social platforms.
Strong understanding of Social Commerce platforms, especially TikTok & TikTok shop
Strong experience developing & executing Social Commerce strategies
Hands-on experience ideally in an agency
Experienced in managing budgets and financial planning for digital marketing
Experience in hiring teams and managing teams
