East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership is committed to providing relationship based focused interventions for our families and communities.

We are looking to recruit to a variety of Social Worker posts which promotes a strengths based, family minded approach. We seek individuals and motivated Social Workers with a variety of experiences to help us deliver excellence for our children, young people and their families.

We have a number of posts across our childrens services including Youth Intensive Support Service who can support young people up to the age of 26. If you have experience in working with children their families and/or young people are keen hear from you.

Whether you have been qualified for a number of years and keen for a new challenge or you are newly qualified and are bringing skills and experiences from your own life and learning. It takes many different skills and knowledge to build great teams, genuine relationships and values that are aligned to authentic co-production.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children and protected adults. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.

If you are not currently registered with SSSC you will commence employment as a Social Work Assistant (Grade 7 - £28,523 to £30,731) until full registration is obtained.

The successful candidate will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
