Social Worker

We are currently recruiting for 2 highly motivated Social Workers who have experience in learning disabilities to join our adult social care service.

Successful candidates should:

Be committed to the principles of personalisation, strengths-based approach and supporting people to maximise their independence. Be creative in co-producing support plans in conjunction with service users that demonstrates best value and community inclusion. Be fully committed to working with people with learning disabilities to increase their independence and inclusion and to maximise their control over their lives. Understand and promote the principles of accessible information and reasonable adjustments Have good knowledge around transition processes. Have in depth knowledge about Direct Payments Have experience of undertaking mental capacity assessments, using a range of communication methods. Have an understanding of positive risk taking. Have experience of undertaking CHC checklists and DSTs. Possess knowledge about assistive technology that is available to support individuals. In return we offer you:
