There are 2 exciting full-time opportunities available within Adult Social Care to join the Social Wellbeing Service. This is for 1 position in our East locality area and 1 in our Central locality area.

The position is to undertake the role of Social Worker within the Social Wellbeing Service.

You will participate in the effective delivery of Care Act duties to adults with care and support needs, families and carers.

You will also be responsible for undertaking Care Act assessments and reviews and develop personalised care and support plans.

You will undertake S.42 safeguarding enquiries and contribute to multi-agency planning, implementing actions, providing interventions for safeguarding and risk management.

Ideally, you will have;

  • Experience of supporting adults with complex care and support needs.
  • Experience of Court of Protection process
  • Experience as a qualified BIA would be an advantage

  • Please note the salary quoted is based on full time hours (37 hours per week)
  • The working hours for this role are 37 hours per week.
  • This is a permanent position.
