A Childrens Social Worker is required for the Children and Families Team in East Bradford.

The service manager and head of service are hands on and very visible we haven’t forgotten how tough the job can be ! We have support workers who offer additional capacity for our Social Workers supervising contact, completing parenting assessments, direct work with Children and we have additional bespoke workers to complete some specialist assessments . We need Social Workers who will be champions for the right decision for children can complete court work and creative plans and have a commitment and appetite to be part of a great team.

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
• Previous experience in a Children and Families team
• Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups.
• Possess knowledge of service needs.
• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
• Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
