This is a great opportunity for a Development Manager to join an ambitious Business Information systems team based in Birmingham. You will be responsible for managing a team of technical system analysts & developers, alongside supporting them in providing technical workflow and automation solutions across multiple platforms.
Role Overview:
- Manage the workload, performance, and development of the team.
- Collaborate with the wider business teams to manage projects from idea to implementation.
- Work closely with the leadership team to drive the department's strategy.
About you:
You are an experienced software developer team leader with technical experience in workflow, database, and Microsoft (Power platform) technologies. You will have experience of managing business process/workflow/development teams and projects.
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrable development management experience including software procurement and service delivery and extensive experience in one or more of the following technologies:
- Microsoft PowerPlatform
- Microsoft SharePoint
- MS SQL Server
- BPM / low code development environments
- Microsoft .NET development experience.
- Cloud technologies MS Azure, Teams and M365
- Experience in Application development and deployment lifecycles (Devops).
- Adaptable and able to respond to changing and evolving priorities
- Strong stakeholder management
Advantageous skills:
- Regulated sector / professional services experience
- Content / Document management technologies e.g. SharePoint, iManage
- Open AI
