Salary: Up to £42,500 depending on experience
Hybrid working: You'll spend the majority of your time working from home, but office presence will also be required as part of your working pattern
Renishaw is one of the world’s leading engineering and scientific technology companies, with expertise in high precision metrology, healthcare, and Additive Manufacturing (AM).
We design and manufacture AM turn-key solutions based on a process called metal powder bed fusion (or laser melting). Our products are used by customers in their cutting-edge engineering projects, in market sectors ranging from automotive to aerospace.
You’ll be part of our InfiniAM Software Suite team, using Agile methodologies, DevOps practices and collaborative Software Engineering tools. Our software is developed using C# (.NET Core), C++, and other design and configuration technologies. You’ll gain specific domain knowledge and be actively involved in the state-of-the-art technology solutions from R&D projects.
- Participating in the software development lifecycle: specification, design, and test-driven development, through to deployment, verification, and maintenance of software components.
- Collaborate as part of an Agile Software team, ensuring quality, timeliness, value, and requirements are at the forefront.
- Contribute towards continuous improvement and innovation of AM software projects.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, another relevant STEM subject, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Experience of developing C# components.
- Experience of developing WPF applications.
- Experience within an Agile development, using DevOps practices.
- Experience with C++, Cuda, DirectX, MATLAB.
- Experience with MS Visual Studio, ReSharper, Azure DevOps.
