Our client is a respected provider of education software to Primary and Secondary schools in the UK. A highly successful enterprise, they have grown their customer base eight fold since 2017 and are on course to expand that by another 30% this financial year. They now seek a suitable Business Development Consultant to join a well-established team in adding more education clients to their portfolio.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will:
-promote the company's software to Head Teachers, CEOs, School Improvement Leads, Literacy Leads and Heads of English across a given geographic area
-canvass for business via cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn and Twitter
-self generate appointments
-deliver demos to school leaders both face-to-face and via Teams/Zoom
-train and support your clients
As Business Development Consultant you will need:
-a successful background in Education (Primary or Secondary)
-a strong desire to work in a commercial environment
-the drive to make sales
-a very good level of literacy
-the ability to build long-term relationships
-a driving licence (preferable)
