As a Software Test & Integration Engineer, you will join the Manchesterteam to support our activities within the Defence or Maritimeindustry.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate on test bench design with R&D teams.
• Experience in Linux &bash scripting.
• Resolve product issues and enhance performance.
• Perform optical/performance testing for product quality.
• Control and maintain measuring equipment on test benches.
• Conduct regression testing for software compatibility.
• Deliver and install software packages to production teams.
• Execute validation and robustness tests for automated benches.
• Release test software (except BU/SEQ).
• Provide DR2M support and manage test results.
• Identify simulator and tool needs for test campaigns.
• Design user-friendly man-machine interfaces.
• Optimize and adapt existing test programs.
• Create technical documents and collaborate with the Database team.
• Option to offer weekend support to manufacturing teams.
• Report on capacity increases to Technical Leaders.
  

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field.
• Interest in maritime or underwater telecommunications testing.
• Proficiency in Linux &bash scripting.
• Knowledge of Software Testing and automation tools.
• Understanding of software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in challenging environments.
