Software Tester

Are you a Software Tester with experience of manual and automation testing through the full test cycle looking for a new role in Aberdeen? This is based 5 days a week on site so you'll need to be in the area and you'll be working on some very interesting projects alongside the already well established development team.

Description

• Identify, record, and document thoroughly any software bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Monitor debugging process results
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Review and analyse system specifications
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

Profile

A successful Software Tester should have:

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• ISTQB qualification is desirable
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual & automated)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
