Form of workDay to day Tasks:
- Successfully complete study tasks set by BPP, our training provider;
- Respond to post, telephone enquiries and queries from clients;
- Assist Fee Earners with their case load;
- Effectively manage your own time, ensuring that chargeable and non-chargeable hours targets are met under supervision;
- Work on files as instructed by your supervisor, which could include (among other things) attending meetings, drafting letters and documents, research and document review;
- Carry out administrative duties as instructed by your supervisor;
- Deal with new enquiries and set up initial meetings;
- Enter, maintain and update client details and relevant information on the case management system; and
- Manage legal documentation in strict confidence.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 GCSEs between A* - C (9 – 4) including English and Maths;
- A minimum 2:2 Law Degree or a 2:2 non-law Degree plus a pass on a Law Conversion Course within the previous 5 years;
- A professional, flexible and reliable attitude and approach;
- Strong time management and planning skills are essential to the role;
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment;
- Customer focus with a proactive “can do” attitude and eagerness to be helpful on every call;
- Strong communication skills & ability to communicate at all levels and across all departments;
- Able to work within a team as well as independently;
- Able to demonstrate initiative, strong work ethic and ability to prioritise and problem solve; and
- Have a good understanding of Microsoft office, telephones and able to grasp case management systems.
