Job Description
As a Solution Architect, you'll bring technical expertise and extensive experience to identify opportunities, engage customers, and drive revenue growth. Collaborate closely with the Business Development team, senior leadership, and engineering teams to steer opportunities and ensure Solution Architectures meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead in defining logical, functional, and physical architectures for proposed bid solutions, alongside engineering strategies for their design and delivery.
- Align engineering opportunities with established processes and governance frameworks, mentoring and managing a team while championing Systems Engineering both internally and externally.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, supporting enhancements to engineering and Systems Engineering capabilities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in architectural design and a comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycles and development models.
- Proven track record in strategising, planning, and designing complex solutions, integrating with existing systems as standalone capabilities.
- Expertise in SE techniques, modelling, and capability quantification to define needs accurately.
- Strong customer/stakeholder management skills and a proactive approach to joint discipline and business-aligned engineering solutions.
- Experience in line management, technical leadership, and mentoring, overseeing a team of at least four engineers.
Notice
This role will require you to hold or undergo DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance. You must hold a minimum of SC Clearance, and be willing to undergo DV to start this role.
