Solutions Architect

I am recruiting for an experienced Solutions Architect to join an award-winning FTSE 100 business based in central Bristol.

Location - Bristol - (Hybrid working offered 2-3 days on site)

Salary - £85,000 - £95,000 depending on experience.

Benefits - excellent range of benefits on offer including the opportunity to earn up to 10% of salary in annual bonus.

The Role

This role of Solutions Architect is critical to the success of the business, as we strive to implement a technology landscape that is fully transparent, efficient and cost optimal to the needs of our business.

We are looking for an experienced, technically proficient Solutions Architect to drive and own the end-to-end solution architecture of our Salesforce and Property Management platforms. This covers all aspects of business capabilities, applications, integrations, and security architectures, aligning at all times to our enterprise strategy, principles, standards, best practices and business need.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Architecture, this position is a senior critical role that will play a pivotal part in shaping the technology landscape of the organisation and ensuring that IT solutions are pragmatic, scalable, secure, and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end solution architecture for all things Customer and Property Management including CRM, Marketing, Bookings/Inventory, Check-in, Check-out, and workflow.
• Validate and assure the technical suitability of solutions proposed by Implementation Partners, ensuring we drive early release of value, and pragmatic solutioning at all times.
• As a key member of our Architecture team, you will ensure all solution proposals align with our technology strategy, architecture principles and standards, working closely with projects and enterprise architecture to assure these solutions through technical design authority.
• Be the Technical lead during any software evaluations and RFI / RFP, facilitating technical requirements capture, scoring, workshops, questions and answers etc.
• Ensure that all technology solutions meet security and regulatory compliance requirements, implementing security measures to protect our data and systems.
• Collaborate with technology teams, business functions, and external suppliers to implement solutions that meet business needs and align with architectural principles.

Experience

• Demonstrable experience architecting and overseeing Customer focused cloud-based systems (Salesforce, Microsoft, Oracle etc.) and integrations including Mobile App, Web, Asset and Facilities Management, Finance etc.
• Experience with hospitality/property management systems is also highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a technical/Solutions Architect role, in a variety of industries.
• Expertise in business architecture capability modelling and process improvement.
• Proven experience helping to drive the adoption of new and emerging technology aligned to business needs in the Customer / Property domain, including low-code/no-code technologies.
• Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies
• Relevant Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area
• Certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are highly desirable.
