Ensuring risk and quality standards are always applied whilst really understanding customer requirements and making the right recommendations and robust plans.

What you'll be doing:
Provide technical analysis, recommendations and costs for new and existing system requirements submitted by ABF businesses, to agreed deliverables
Scope, develop, plan and implement fit for purpose solutions for your business divisions within the ABF Group, selecting the right vendors, 3rd parties and equipment to ensure efficiency, cost and quality expectations are met
Provide solutions consultancy to ABF businesses before projects are requested and during project delivery as required
Provide technical support to BTS Project Services and Operations teams as required
Assist in the development and maintenance of the ABF BTS Reference Architecture in conjunction with the Technical Architects
What you'll bring:
Ability to produce and articulate accurate proposals including design, project tracker and costs
Experience in developing infrastructure and cloud solutions ideally azure
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, influence and present at all levels, conveying ideas in user-friendly language to a variety of audiences
High customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with business units maintaining trust and insight
Previous experience of working with vendors, internal customers and external customers
Experience of researching technical products and services as required and to stay current with developments
Analytical approach to problem solving and keen attention to detail
A wide range of technical knowledge and experience working with the following; Networking fundamentals, Server operating systems including Windows, Infrastructure applications, Storage fundamentals and various Host Bus adaptors (HBAs)
Location
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking. This role will be based at our Peterborough offices on the Lynchwood Business Park.
