Solutions Mobile Supervisor

Ward Security are looking to appoint a talented Solutions Mobile Supervisor to oversee all operational activity of Ward’s Solutions Mobile Officers and to be the first point of contact for operatives on duty and the National Operations Centre. The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker with a can do attitude and will ensure the welfare, effectiveness and efficiency of all operations are being maintained.

Position:Solutions Mobile Supervisor

Location: Kent / London and surrounding areas

Pay rate: £14.50ph

Shift pattern: 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off 24/7 coverage-rolling pattern

Days 0600 to 1800. Nights 1800 to 0600

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor and ensure all duties are being carried out competently and as contracted with the customer on a daily basis by means of team interaction and monitoring of patrol software.
• Audit checks of all vehicles are conducted by the Mobile Officer on duty on a daily basis. Vehicle checks are inclusive of being kept to a high standard of cleanliness, legal and roadworthy and are equipped correctly for the required tasks at hand
• Ensure key checks and handover acceptance has been carried out by the Mobile Officer on duty on a daily basis through the mobile operating software. Key checks consist of counting of pouches at the start and end of every shift and handovers acceptances to confirm the officer has read and understands any additional items for the duty ahead
• Ensure handover acceptance forms have been accepted for the Supervisors own duties for the working shift ahead
• Perform monthly key audits as per company requirements and procedures
• Assist Mobile Officers with Alarm Activations where necessary to ensure other duties are not affected
• Proactively supervise and monitor duties via the mobile operating software on a daily basis to ensure all duties are being carried out as contracted and providing customer satisfaction
• Work closely with the National Operations Centre and Solutions Hub Team to ensure effective working relationships are maintained between departments
• Monitor performance of Mobile Officers by working closely with them, conducting monthly welfare checks, to include correct uniform issued, any vehicle issues, challenges they may be facing with their role and general welfare of the officer.
• Carry out annual appraisals for each Mobile Officer
• Provide adequate training for each new starter and signing off through a training matrix as required by the company

Key Skills and Experience:

• SIA Front Line Licence essential
• UK Manual Driving Licence essential
• Good geographical knowledge of the required service delivery area
• Sound knowledge of how to route plan effectively
• Outstanding customer service
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages, competent with mobile phone and use of mobile app’s
• Proven problem-solving skills; ability to visualise a problem or situation and think abstractly to resolve
• Proven Management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and innovate
• Mobile Services background and experience with alarm systems, patrols, locks and unlock services desirable
• Flexibility to cover holiday and sickness in the roster where all options have been exhausted
