JOB TITLE: Source to Ledger Reconciliation Manager
SALARY: £61,641 - £68,490
LOCATION: Bristol (Harbourside)
HOURS: Full time (Part time will be considered)
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site
About this opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to lead our Source to Ledger reconciliation team to ensure we deliver in line with SLAs and meet the highest possible standards of Risk and Control.
You'll lead a team of 4, with support from your Senior Manager and the Head of Function to ensure the Source to Ledger reconciliations are robust, complete and within deadlines. You'll need to understand the detail behind the reconciliations to support the team with process and documentation improvements. You'll also work with the wider team to ensure best practice for reconciliations.
This role is in the Source to Ledger reconciliations team in Accounting Operations which sits within Group Finance Support and Finance Data Analytics Office (GFS & FDAO)
GFS is a team of c300 colleagues within the Finance division with responsibility for the core platforms, processes, financial reporting and controls for the Finance Division. It also supports the function through provision of Systems capabilities and Divisional Resilience & Security and Strategy implementation.
The role would suit a motivated individual who can develop a team of 4 direct reports and influencing those in the wider team. It's also a great opportunity to gain experience in a shared service centre, giving you wide experience within other areas of Finance to aid progression.
