Duties and responsibilities related to the Sous Chef role
- Provide support to the Head Chef in daily restaurant operations which operates for lunch and dinner.
- Assume responsibility for managing shifts ensuring smooth functioning and maintaining quality standards.
- Train, coach, motivate, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process of new team members, contributing to building a strong culinary team.
- Ensure that all dishes meet very high standards and align with company expectations for taste, presentation, and quality.
- Enforce strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards
About you
Proven track record and experience in high-end Chinese cuisine is desired, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent knowledge of food trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
