Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and instructions.
- Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and supply oversight.
- Maintain high-quality food standards and ensure the kitchen’s cleanliness and condition.
- Uphold food safety standards and keep stations clean.
- Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including staff training and kitchen management.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
- Relevant culinary qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Creative flair with a passion for food and culinary excellence.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and reliability in work scheduling, including availability for weekend events as needed.
