Job Title: Sous Chef
Job Description: Are you a passionate chef looking to join a dynamic, food-loving team? All Week, is a young and vibrant foodie startup with a strong commitment to sustainability, and we seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary crew. As a Chef at All Week, you'll play a pivotal role in creating exquisite, chef-crafted meals that delight our customers. With a friendly and positive space to learn from Michelin-trained chefs, be creative, contribute to a team and have your voice heard across every level of the business.
We are looking to bring a leader into our kitchen. Someone who can get the best out of our more junior chefs and drive a kitchen in a positive way, empowering our team. With fantastic energy, a positive outlook and excellent time and team management skills.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Salary:
£30,000 - £34,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
Encourage, empower, teach and drive a winning team.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure food quality and presentation meet the highest standards.
Train and oversee junior team members, sharing your culinary expertise.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
Manage food cost by minimizing waste and controlling portion sizes.
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, contributing to a seamless workflow.
Assist in the packaging of meals for delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen, or a relevant culinary qualification and a great attitude.
Tangible management and team building experience
Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and practices.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
