Hospitality Hunters are recruiting NOWAbout Our Client:An opportunity has arisen for a Spa Manager at this new opening luxurious Hotel, Located in the centre of the lively, historic and quaint town of Sherborne surrounded by the glorious Dorset countryside, this luxury hotel opens this spring 2024. It will be the perfect place to stay and have a spa dayThe Spa Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the spa inside a 25+ bedroom accommodation, large bar and 60+ seater restaurant. Day Spa Manager must have a passion for exceptional levels of guest service, attention to detail and a proven track record in commercial awareness, the Spa Manager will work closely with the owners to drive this business.You:As the Spa Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa's operations.Your leadership skills will be essential in managing a team of spa professionals and ensuring exceptional customer service.Your organisational abilities will help maintain efficiency in daily operations, while your supervisory skills will ensure that staff members perform their duties effectively.Your excellent phone etiquette will contribute to positive customer interactions, while your multilingual abilities will be an asset in serving a diverse clientele.Administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and inventory management will also be part of your responsibilities.Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the spa, ensuring smooth and efficient functioningManage and supervise a team of spa staff, including aestheticians, massage therapists, and receptionistsDevelop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfactionTrain and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service and perform their duties effectivelyMonitor inventory levels and order supplies as neededConduct regular performance evaluations for staff membersExperience:Proven experience in team management and leadership rolesStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectivelyExcellent phone etiquette and communication skillsMultilingual abilities are a plusProficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and inventory managementRetail management experience is beneficial for promoting spa products and servicesLicence/Certification:
