Job Description: We are currently seeking a friendly and professional Spa Receptionist to join our team at The Middlewick. As the first point of contact for guests visiting our spa facilities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the spa reception and assist with check-in procedures.
- Provide information about spa services, treatments, and packages to guests, including pricing and availability.
- Schedule spa appointments and manage bookings using our reservation system.
- Handle phone and email inquiries regarding spa services, reservations, and general questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the spa reception area, changing rooms and facilities, including stocking supplies and tidying up as needed.
- Process payments for spa services and retail products accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with spa therapists and other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by anticipating guests' needs and addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining guest records.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a spa or wellness centre setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and reservation software for booking appointments and processing payments.
- A genuine passion for wellness and hospitality, with a desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential).
