Job Description
- Reporting to the CFO and working with Senior Finance Managers in the Finance Team on finance projects.
- Assist with and make recommendations to improve efficiency of the process & production of monthly management accounts, Ad hoc reports, KPIs, cashflow models, annual budgets & quarterly four-year forecasts as well as broader support for business planning, performance & decision making across the organisation.
- Support the CFO in identifying, evaluating, and implementing all investment opportunities to build intrinsic value in the business.
- Primary oversight for all finance IT systems, taking the lead on all developments, improvements and implementations.
The Successful Applicant
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA,) with at least five years PQE in financial accounting, management reporting, business modelling and analytics.
- Commercially astute with demonstrable ability to influence, persuade and work effectively with all levels of staff across an organisation.
- Organised and disciplined with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
- IT literate with a genuine interest in using technology to improve efficiency, productivity, and resilience of finance operations.
- Advanced Excel skills, Power Pivot/Query, macros, modelling best practice such as FAST
- Experience of software such as Power BI, Power Automate would be particularly advantageous.
- Additionally, experience of System implementation and skills such as business analysis, requirements specification, process mapping & change, developer management, UAT, user training would again be particularly advantageous.
