Spanish Teacher

Step Teachers are currently looking for a Spanish Teacher in Cheshunt to start as soon as possible. This is a full time Spanish Teacher position which will involve planning, marking and reporting across all year groups. The role is a long term supply role at least until the end of the summer term with the view to be extended into the new academic year.

Spanish Teacher Role:

• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Spanish curriculum
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Spanish Teacher Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school
• Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Spanish Teacher
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• A relevant MFL or Spanish related degree is desirable.
• SEND experience is desirable
