Axcis are currently working with a two-form entry primary school based in Haringey who require a Special Needs teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with social, emotional and mental health needs and MLD. The ideal teaching assistant will be energetic and creative and be able to motivate and inspire pupils in their care. You will ideally have previous experience dealing with SEMH and Challenging behaviour and have a sound understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Team Teach training is highly desirable but not essential. This is an amazing position for someone who is passionate about working with students with challenging behaviour and an opportunity to be a positive role model and make a real difference. This is a full-time role to start ASAP and continue on for the rest of the academic year.
