A Warm and welcoming Part residential Special needs school is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their award winning team starting ASAP. The school is fully subscribed for this coming academic year and is looking for a fun and friendly TA to join the team. The school supports learners between the ages of 5 and 19 years, pupils at the school have a complex need including Autism, Asperger's and other associated needs. As a TA, your role will be to support the delivery of high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally. • Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable but not essential)
• TA/Care or childcare experience
• SEN Experience (desirable)
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

• As a Teaching assistant, your role will be to support the delivery of high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally.
• Communicating with the teacher over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
