Position: Specialist Occupational Therapist - Palliative Care

Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a diverse caseload of patients with specialized Palliative Care needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and implement tailored occupational therapy interventions for individuals with life-limiting illnesses.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring their active involvement.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust therapy interventions to address evolving patient needs.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, particularly in conveying sensitive information with empathy.
- Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to enhance symptom management and improve patients' overall quality of life.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) for physiotherapy.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development post-graduation.
- Membership in a relevant specialist interest group.
- Demonstrated expertise acquired through post-graduate physiotherapy training.
- Previous experience in inpatient and rehabilitation settings, such as oncology or respiratory care.
- Proficient clinical reasoning skills for managing complex patient cases.
- Specialized knowledge in assessing and treating patients with complex conditions.
