An opportunity to play your part – • The Procurement Category Specialist will aid in the end-to-end management processes and strategy within their designated category area, collaborating with stakeholders and Category leads to execute procurement projects aimed at achieving optimal commercial outcomes for Centrica. You will provide support for crucial categories across both direct and indirect Procurement, emphasizing sourcing agility, turnaround time, and facilitating self-service Procurement across diverse categories.

The day to day –
- Contribute to establishing and implementing best practices within the Category.
- Show previous experience in Supplier Relationship Management and Buying Channel Strategies.
- Take ownership of commercial and contractual reviews and negotiations, including statements of work, framework agreements, and contract change notices.
- Facilitate the identification and collection of business needs from procurement Directors aligned with business units and stakeholders and communicates these requirements to third parties within their respective category for fulfilment.
