Specialist Trainer, Digital Apprenticeships

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced practitioner to join our award-winning team at Bridgwater and Taunton College.

The successful candidate will work as part of our Ofsted Outstanding, work-based learning team and will be responsible for leading our digital professions apprenticeship provision. Delivering training for employers across the region, the post holder will join us at an exciting time as we support our employer partners to deliver the skills they need for the future.

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to further elevate this curriculum and cement BTC/University Centre Somerset as the go-to provider for Digital Apprenticeships in the South West.

You will be expected to co-ordinate a highly effective teaching, learning and assessment experience across allocated courses to contribute to the college’s expectations of quality. You will hold computing/ICT qualification(s) and possess significant industry experience. You will be proactive, enthusiastic and possess strong employer engagement skills to develop effective business to business relationships that enhance the learner journey.

Most importantly, you will be a great team player, and be motivated and committed to ensuring all learners maximise their potential, deliver impact within their organisations and are fully prepared to embark on the next stage of their career journey.
