Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics

The post holder will actively contribute to the delivery of the Anaesthetic service within the directorate and participate in the out of hours rota, maintaining a high standard of care. The successful candidate may be required to work across all 3 sites. The post holder will be expected to play a full part in complying with all aspects of clinical governance. The clinical duties will include those duties normally expected of a Specialty Doctor in a similar sized Trust. The appointees will have completed a minimum of 5 years Specialty training in Anaesthetics or equivalent with relevant experience and competencies. Full GMC registration is essential and evidence of further experience and training in Obstetric Anaesthesia is desirable.
