Position: Speech Language Therapist

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with communication disorders, including speech, language, and social communication difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs, goals, and abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and beyond.
- Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify students in need of Speech Language services.
- Provide training and support to school staff on strategies for promoting communication development and supporting students with communication difficulties.
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Speech Language Therapy (e.g., BSc/MSc in Speech Language Therapy).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience working with children and young people with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with best practices in Speech Language therapy.
