The SSA is the independent voice and representative organisation for governing bodies of sport in Scotland; we exist to represent and champion our members. We work to ensure the interests of our members are represented across Government, Parliament, sportscotland, the voluntary sector and the wider sporting world and always ensure that we provide high quality and valued services to our members.

Part time position, ~25 hours/week (flexible)

Salary: £27,000-28,500 pro rata
Initial 12 Month Contract (with potential to extend)

Remote working with occasional in-person meetings in Edinburgh

We are looking for the right fit for our team with strong demonstrable skills in key areas to join our team. While relevant qualifications/experience are required, finding the candidate with the right skills and characteristics is our priority. The Bookkeeper is a new and unique role within Scottish sport, providing assistance across the SSA’s role in supporting Scottish Governing Bodies of sport. The SSA team operates on a hybrid/work from anywhere model, so the location for this post is flexible, although attendance at an occasional number of in-person meetings in Edinburgh will be required (with dates notified in advance). Please note that secondments will be considered for this position.
