What we need in a nutshell
We want our guests to have a whale of a time down at the pool. As Sports and Leisure Manager, you will make this happen by ensuring our leisure activities and pool facilities operate at the highest levels whilst leading a team of qualified lifeguards and activity assistants.

We need you to be the person who delivers delight and safety when our guests are splashing about at the pool or taking part in the wide range of activities and facilities we have to offer. The nitty gritty of what you’ll be doing
Working as part of our slightly bonkers team of holiday heroes, you will oversee the management of the swimming pool, gym, and all the other fantastic leisure activities we have to offer (check out our website, some exciting stuff to get involved with). You’ll be looking after everyone’s safety, ensuring your areas of responsibility are safe, clean and meeting legal requirements and NOP’s. You’ll also have financial income and expenditure projections from the Sports and Leisure department.
You’ll also be leading by example: being incredibly friendly, answering guests’ questions and 'mucking in’ when you need to. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator who is seeking a challenge and enhance their career to the next level.
One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on weekends bank holidays too.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
There’s plenty of training, but what we require you to already have:
- A current NPNQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
- A current PPO (Pool Plant Operations) qualification
- Great interpersonal skills – you’ll need to be assertive as well as friendly
- Proven leadership skills
