Role Overview:
As a SQL Developer with Azure SQL expertise, you'll play a pivotal role in our team, contributing to the development and maintenance of our databases and data-driven applications hosted on the Azure platform. This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your SQL architecture knowledge and Azure SQL skills while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for Azure SQL databases.
- Utilize your understanding of SQL architecture and Azure SQL to implement efficient database solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand database requirements and ensure alignment with Azure SQL capabilities.
- Perform database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and performance tuning specifically tailored for Azure SQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in Azure SQL environments in a timely manner.
- Ensure data security and compliance with Azure SQL best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives leveraging Azure services.
- Proven experience as a SQL Developer with expertise in Azure SQL.
- Strong understanding of SQL architecture principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, including database provisioning, configuration, and optimization.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for Azure SQL environments.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, or Azure Synapse Analytics (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
