Meridian Business Support are working with an established private client in the Sudbury area who are looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to join their medium / large sized nursing home.
The home is a purpose built and provides high levels of Elderly Dementia Care to residents living with Dementia and General Elderly care conditions.
As a Staff Nurse, you will be an integral part of our resident care team, providing high-quality nursing care in a supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, ensuring the overall well-being of residents.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care.
- Providing emotional support and maintaining a comforting environment for residents and their families.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring timely response to any changes in health status.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide holistic and coordinated care.
- Offer emotional support to residents and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Essential Requirements:
- NMC Registered – RGN and RMN considered
- Passionate about delivering a high-quality service that promotes the independence, choice and dignity of service users
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable and friendly nature
- Care planning skills
