We’re recruiting an Assistant Shop Assistant for our wonderful shop in Tewkesbury, a well-established store at the heart of the community, generously supported by our fantastic customers and donations!
More about the role
As a Standby Shop Assistant, you'll assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager in maximising sales and profits, identifying income opportunities, and helping to support a team of volunteers. You'll also be responsible for running the shop independently in the absence of the Shop Manager, so you must be comfortable with occasional lone working.

What is required?
We are looking for people with the following:
- Previous experience of working in a retail environment
- Cash handling and reconciliation
- Supervisory experience
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Computer literacy and administration skills
- Managing volunteers
