We’re recruiting am Standby Shop Assistantforour wonderful shop in Litchfield a well-established shop in the heart of the community that’s well supported by our fantastic customers and wonderful donations!
Our generous supporters donate a mixture of clothes, books, toys, household goods and soft furnishings that we sell in our shops and online. All the money raised goes towards enabling Blue Cross to support sick, injured, and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes.
More about the role
You will be on a zero hour’s contract and therefore you will not have regular hours of work but will be on standby to work shifts as and when required.

What is required?
We are looking for people with the following:
- Previous experience of working in a retail environment
- Cash handling and reconciliation
- Supervisory experience
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Computer literacy and administration skills
- Managing volunteers
