Form of workElevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a growing business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a CIMA Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of Monthly Management Accounts for 2 Companies
- Analyse P&L variances and oversee reconciliation of Balance sheet control accounts
- Reconcile all Bank accounts
- Administer and Reconcile Invoice Finance
- Vat preparation and reconciliation
- Weekly cashflow forecast and approve monthly payment runs
- Overhaul of current systems and procedures
- Reconcile Inter-company accounts
- Train up on all aspects of Month end processes with a view to improvements
- Prepare Annual Budget Workings
- Prepare for Group audit and liaise with Group Auditors
- Support Group Finance Director to meet increasing business demands
- Manage 2 members of staff who have responsibility of Purchase Ledger Supervisor and Credit Control Junior
Person Specification:
- Part Qualified CIMA Accountant with experience in financial management
- Ability to lead 2 members of staff with transactional responbility and be proactive with improvement solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deal with auditors and work at Group level with our companies
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Experience in industry preferred
