Static Mechanical Engineer required for our client, a leading company within the facilities management industry who currently have a contract with a prestigious office building in the West End (Central London).
The successful Static Mechanical Engineer will be site-based on a prestigious site in the West End (London), and will be working alongside a team of Mechanical Engineers to complete planned maintenance (PPM), and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical systems including but not limited to; domestic water systems, LTHW systems (Low Temperature Hot Water), chilled water systems (including cooling towers), open & closed water systems, and L8 regulated Hot & Cold-Water Systems.
The ideal Static Mechanical Engineer will have a strong technical background in completing commercial mechanical maintenance and/or installations, and will have previous experience maintaining commercial buildings using BMS systems and completing ongoing plumbing/heating maintenance to ensure the building runs efficiently.
Static Mechanical Engineer Position Requirements
- Strong commercial mechanical/plumbing background, ideally from a high-end office space setting
- Mechanical/Plumbing qualifications desirable
- Based within a commutable distance to the West End (Central London)
- Competent in most updated Health & Safety regulations
- Technologically-literate, and competent in using BMS systems and CRM software
Static Mechanical Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £38,000 - £42,000, depending on experience
- 40 hour working week, split into three shift patterns (no night shifts)
- Overtime starting at 1.5x
- 31 day's holiday (23 day's plus bank holidays)
