Job Description:

As a Statistical Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting research and development activities by designing, implementing, and maintaining statistical programming processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical programming, data analysis, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Statistical Programming:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain statistical programs for data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with statisticians and data analysts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of statistical outputs.

 

Data Management:

  • Manage and manipulate large datasets to support statistical analyses.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency through rigorous quality control processes.

 

Program Development and Validation:

  • Write, test, and validate statistical programs in accordance with project specifications and regulatory guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of programming processes and standards.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including statisticians, data managers, and project managers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.

 

Documentation:

  • Prepare and maintain documentation of statistical programming activities, including code, datasets, and validation results.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality control processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in statistical programming within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS or R.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards for statistical programming.
