Statutory Reporting Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a business in Burnley who require a Statutory Reporting Accountant to join the business and lead all the statutory and financial reporting compliance for all entities within the Group. The business is a multi-site international operation and has seen extensive growth over the last few years, and this role will be supporting the complex group reporting structure.

Duties as the Statutory Reporting Accountant will include:

• Preparation of all the financial reporting requirements across the Group for internal and external stakeholders.

• Co-ordinate the month end reporting and development of tighter controls and processes for an effective close.

• Support the monthly consolidation process across multiple sites.

• Preparation of the Group financial statements and statutory compliance.

• Assist with the Group Audit and resolve queries efficiently.

• Assist with reporting improvements and efficiencies within the ERP system

• Support a small finance team within the Group function.

The role will need you to be adaptable and happy to work as a team at Board level, you will also be knowledgeable in Group consolidations as well as have some audit experience and Statutory Reporting experience.
