Job description

The Role:

As a Senior Step 3 Team Lead you will manage, supervise and lead a team of Step 3Team Leaders. This new and exciting role will focus on supporting and developing the Step 3 Trainee and Preceptorship elements within the service. You will provide high intensity treatment and support the operational development and clinical management of the Step 3 service. This is a great opportunity to help lead and shape the Step 3 service as part of a small supportive Senior Team. In addition to line management responsibilities, you will be supporting projects to improve service delivery.

 

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Talking Therapies High Intensity Therapist or Counsellor
  • Demonstrable post-qualifying experience of delivering High Intensity Interventions 
  • Experience of risk-management
  • Undertaking Clinical Audit, including action planning
  • Experience of providing line management and leading teams
  • Experience of providing supervision
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required

Desirable:

  • Working with Trainees and/or newly qualified HITs
  • Talking Therapies High Intensity Supervisor Training
  • Use of IAPTUS system
  • Leading a team to deliver evidence-based interventions 
  • Recruitment experience
