You may not have heard of us, but we're sure you've tried our products because we supply food for the all the major supermarkets in the UK.

Here at Spalding, we have a team of around 540 colleagues. We produce coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads and couscous/grains for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Lidl, Sainsbury's, KFC, Nando's, Pizza Hut and Costco. Our Spalding site has a restaurant with hot food available to all our colleagues.

What you'll be doing

Tuesday-Friday 15:00-01:00 at £13.40 per hour

Ensure Daily Stock checks are completed

Complete booking in process for late deliveries of Raw materials and packaging

Build close relationships with key stakeholders within the factory and MRP

Liaise with Planning team for Raw Materials deliveries

Health and Safety and Safe working practices are a priority

Step in where required when short of skills

Anything else within the capability of the job holder

Statutory 40 hours per week, although the Stock Controller should be prepared to exceed these hours if circumstances demand it.

You will be required to cover other shifts, when necessary, specifically year end / half year stock takes and compliance audits.

This a Shop floor base position as well as office based the split will be 60% shop floor 40% office

Good level of both spoken and written English.

Good level of numeracy

Good level in Microsoft word excels and general computer use.

Level 2 in Health & Safety and health & Hygiene is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Experience of the food industry would be preferred.

Experience in stock control.
