Stock Controller

Nelson permanent Placements are currently working with a global forecourt equipment designer & developer based in Birmingham who specialise in providing innovative products to the petroleum industry.

Due to growth within the company they are looking for a Stock Controller to join their on a permanent basis to oversee the day-to-day stock control of their one of its kind product.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies
• Placing purchases with suppliers
• Check goods-in when they arrive at site
• Make sure documents such as ISO are correctly completed for audit purposes
• Work closely with the warehouse team to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
• Generate accurate reports on stock levels, stock movements, and stock valuation on a regular basis for management review
• Tracking shipments, delays, and the internal movement of stock

Requirements:

• Stock Control and Stock Management skills
• Inventory Control skills
• Analytical Skills
• Excellent Communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organisational skills
• Proficient in the use of Windows operating systems
• Experience in BS9001 is essential

Benefits:

• Up to £30,000 per annum
• Working hours 08:00 – 17:00 Mon – Thur; 08:00 – 16: 30 Friday (1 hr lunchbreak)
• 31 days holiday pa inc Bank Holidays and Christmas Shut Down
