Stock Controller

SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Stock Controller to join one of their long-standing clients based in Swadlincote. You will be joining an excellent business, working within a great team and environment. The role is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday (with an early Friday finish).
You will be responsible for all elements of stock accuracy, from physical counting to maintaining records. The successful candidate for this role should be process driven and have the ability to ensure processes are documented, followed and reviewed. In addition, this role will be responsible for cycle counts and investigating of any variations, root cause analysis and achieving and improving inventory KPIs.
Day to day duties will include:
- Opening and closing cycle counts in and ensuring stocks adjustments are completed
- Setting and completing cycle count plan, ensuring all counts are completed per quarter
- Ensuring count validation process is followed and recorded
- Supporting Logistics Analyst with managing stock
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Ensuring processes support improvement of stock accuracy
- Ensuring processes are reviewed regularly
- Following authorisation processes with Senior management
- Ensuring Root Cause Analysis are completed
- Identifying corrective actions and ensuring implementation
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar position and experience working with an ERP or CRM system. In addition, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office alongside being an excellent communicator and keen problem solver.
