Excellent opportunity to join a leading logistics company as a Warehouse Administrator. The role will be based in Batley.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical and regular audits and inspections with the Senior Warehouse Operative to assess the accuracy and integrity of inventory records and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting the Senior Warehouse Operative with Inventory Management, Monthly stock reports for Finance, Delivery Notes, Stock Tracking, Transport Planning / Booking, Goods In records etc.
- Proactively manage resolve stock/delivery queries from other stakeholders within the business
- Create Purchase Orders for any stock / warehouse related items and ensuring full financial approval is acquired using Microsoft Dynamics.
- Perform internal control and daily check of goods prior to shipment to ensure accuracy.
- Perform data entry tasks, and prepare reports
- Perform daily check of goods received to organise stock intake and track where goods are stored.
- Assist the Senior Warehouse Operative with loading of vehicles when necessary
- Provide cover for the Senior Warehouse Operative when necessary to ensure the warehouse remains fully operational (holiday cover etc)
Person Specification
- IT Literate able to use Windows and other computer packages
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and a team player
