Stock Loaders - Nights

Spitfire Staffing is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well established and successful clients in Lymington.

Due to further success and an upturn in business, they are looking for reliable and hard-working candidates to join the team.

The Role:

• Loading stock onto the production line, the achieve set tasks within and agree time and effectively communicating progress to others.
• Loading stock on to the extruder line
• Operation of light machinery in a safe manner
• Accurate recording of material waste
• Recording of personal daily activity information
• Participating in company wide and specific continuous improvement activities
• Reporting stock/machine defects, or perceived defects to the Production Team Leader
• Assisting colleagues/departments or undertaking other duties as requested by the Production Team Leader.
• Manual handling on a daily basis

Details:

• 11.37 per hour whilst training, raising to 11.83 once signed off and on the night shift.
• Mon-Thurs 22:00-06:00 Fri 17:00-22:00
• Training will be done on days for 6 weeks:
• Week 1 Mon-Thurs 06:00-14:00 Fri 06:00-11:00
• Week 2 Mon-Thurs 14:00-22:00 Fri 11:00-16:00

Requirements:

• Numerate and literate
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to be trained.
• Operate as part of a manufacturing team.
• Manufacturing / Industrial experience an advantage
