Storeman Assistant

As a Stores Assistant for B&B Attachments you work within an engineering environment, supporting the Storeman in ensuring the department runs efficiently. You will ensure deliveries are checked in correctly, whilst maintaining the general cleanliness of our Stores area.

Duties include:

• Booking in Company deliveries on arrival
• Stock organisation and control
• Packing parcels and pallets ready for dispatch
• Ensuring the general tidiness and cleanliness of stores area
• Booking stock in and out of the business
• Maintaining stock levels by keeping track of existing stock and ordering new stock where necessary

Personal/Role Requirements:

• Good practical skills
• Good concentration levels
• Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
• Forklift truck licence would be advantageous but the willingness to drive a forklift truck is essential
• This role would most suit an individual who is keen to enter in to the engineering & manufacturing industry. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
