As a Stores Account Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the flow of stock in and out of the Stores for our client. Taking requests and processing them, receiving deliveries, logging stock in the system, doing stock takes and supporting with audits.
To be successful in this role, you will need IT skills including Excel and Microsoft Word. Experience of working with stock control systems would be great, and a general ability to learn new systems would be highly beneficial.
It is also desirable that you have knowledge of MOD JSP’S/Defence Logistics Framework (DLF), experience, knowledge and understanding in working in an MOD environment, and a working knowledge of the current publications the Authority’s Joint Service Publications (JSPs).
You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written. You will be a good team member who can prioritise your own work as well as aid others when required. You will have excellent attention to detail, work proactively, be flexible in approach and diligent in meeting deadlines. You will also have experience and a good working knowledge of all Microsoft office packages and focus on customers and service delivery.
