Address We're currently looking for a Stores Operative to join our maintenance team at Stoke. As a Stores Operative you will support our Stoke depot in meeting ongoing production demands and depot requirements.
The Stores Operative is responsible for the proper handling, management and storage of materials arriving on site. The post holder will undertake the full range of duties that are involved in this process, ensuring activities are carried out in accordance with the technical, safety, quality and legal standards.
We're looking for someone with previous warehouse experience and the ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment.
Unloading/loading of deliveries
Picking/packing materials as per production requirements
Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods using the company’s stock management system
Keeping racks and warehouse tidy and undertaking any other housekeeping/stock counting duties as required
Supporting the production teams with general site movements using FLT/JCB
Build and maintain good communication to our internal customers in regard to deliveries to enable efficient planning
Reporting of any safety related incidents and creating a positive safety culture within the depot
You will be required to work 36 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 07:00-16:30).
We are looking for someone with a positive working attitude and previous warehouse experience.
Organisation is a key element of this role
Forklift/JCB driving experience is preferred but full training will be given.
Overtime is available for this role
